Walking toward the turnstile from the rocky path in overgrowth area. In the distance you can see the stone Marshman Cottage.
On one side of the turnstile is filled with brush and paths to Atlantic ocean. The side we are looking at is a cluster of stone cottages. The Celia Thaxter Museum and Vaughn Cottage Memorial is on the left. Behind this cottage is the Gosport Chapel. On the right side of the turnstile is Parker and next that cottage is Newton.
